Dr. Seuss Week!

Learning fun from here to there,
We love learning everywhere!

Oh the fun we had celebrating Dr. Seuss!
We laced socks for the fox and hats for the cat.
We matched rhyming words with green eggs and ham.
We counted with fish: One fish, two fish...
 We crafted with the cat.
We helped stripe his hat.
We wished we had duck feet, whale spouts, and horns.
Oh the thinks that we thought and the fun that we had.
Learning with Dr. Seuss makes us glad!

Space Week

We had a BLAST during Space Week.  Our imaginations took flight with fun pretend play...
...spacey science experiments...
...and lots more fun!
We learned all about the solar system, stars, the moon, astronaut gear, and some new vocabulary words like orbit.  We got very good at counting backward from 10, which is a lot more exciting when it ends with a BLAST OFF!

O is for "Once Upon a Time"...

Once upon a time, there was a great group of preschool students who had lots of fun during fairy tale week!  We enjoyed telling and retelling favorite tales through various activities.

Some of our favorites were "The Three Billy Goats Gruff",
"The Three Little Pigs",

"Jack and the Beanstalk", and many more!

N is for Nursery Rhymes

We had fun learning about Nursery Rhymes.  Here are a few of our favorites:
"Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary"
"Little Miss Muffet"
"The Itsy Bitsy Spider"
"Jack Be Nimble"
"Jack and Jill"
"Hey Diddle Diddle"
...And of course, "There Was an Old Lady Who Lived in a Shoe"
We had fun playing games, doing fingerplays, singing songs, and doing art and science projects with these nursery rhymes and more!
